We have known for a long while now that the enemies of liberty have been systematically encroaching on America’s Heritage. Political correctness has been the card-carrying soldier against unique American individualism for so long that it takes something really outlandish to clear the fog of apathy that surrounds daily injustices in our country, which was founded on the tenets of “liberty and justice for all.” With all the assaults on the United States Constitution that have transpired in recent and not so recent history, the term, “unconstitutional” has become rather “benign speak” in modern times. Each and every one of the Bill Of Rights has been ripped to shreds in the halls of legislatures, courts of the land, offices of executive government, campuses of universities and government schools, and offices of law enforcement all over this land. So, I ask you, why is so much credence being given to the recent Ninth Circuit Court Of Appeals decision to rule that the Pledge Of Allegiance is unconstitutional?
Many people who are and will protest this decision have no idea just what they are fighting for – or against. These same people will tell you that we live under a democratic form of government and will not correctly identify the difference between that and our own republic as it was established. In fact, if the citizenship test was to be distributed among natural born Americans today, I seriously doubt that most could even pass it. Some could not even correctly quote the Pledge Of Allegiance – so why would they be so offended by a ruling against its Constitutionality?
The “offending” language is being defined with two words – “under God.” This is just a ploy, but everyone is buying it, hook, line, and sinker. Yes, I know – the original case involves an atheist father who thinks his daughter was suffering injury by having to mention God every day. Horse feathers! The daughter was simply a tool in an agenda to claim fame and attention for the father’s own religion. That’s right – I said “religion.” Atheism is, after all, a religion all its own. But all that aside – THAT still isn’t the point, and had nothing to do with the motives of these asinine judges. The whole Pledge is the target here, folks. The fact that we allow and even encourage people to take a vow to their beliefs is truly what is on trial here. We already know that oaths of office are not taken seriously. The oaths are broken every day because the Constitution IS NOT being protected and defended in all the aforementioned places throughout this land. However, in order for the socialist and communist philosophies to claim total victory over American Heritage, the oaths and pledges that exist in this country must be wiped out. Look it up if you don’t believe me.
I’ve heard some pretty absurd things in defense of this ruling thus far, and they all have to do with the “religious” angle. People have tried to maintain that the Founders had no intention of weaving God into the fabric of the foundations of America. Absurd! It takes very little reading of their words to prove otherwise. If I set about to quote from historical documents and private writings of these great men on this one point, this article would be so lengthy you would have trouble finishing it in one sitting.
God has been under attack by those following the flawed philosophies of socialism and communism for some time now. He, too, must be eliminated from mainstream America before our liberties will be completely gone. Why? Because our liberties, our rights, our freedoms come not from government, but from the Creator. For you self-described atheists, that means YOU – not a government that you are a part of. For the rest of us, it means God by whatever name we choose to call Him.
When considering what trumps in the game of political one-upmanship, there can be no doubt that God will win this one. This is why we see people from all walks of life, from every political camp, and from the depths of usual ignorance about our American Heritage rushing to disavow the ruling. There are times when He must step in to plead His own case, and He will use whatever tools are at hand.
This should be a warning to all those who would still see America destroyed. God is NOT speechless, and this Nation Under God never will be.
