The coming world religion and it is not Islam

There is a tremendous religious move in this nation, and it is not Islam, although Islamic “evangelists” or proselytizers are very active.  But Islam is monotheistic, tracing its roots back to father Abraham (Ibrihim) and his descendants through the line of Ishmael rather than Isaac.  No monotheistic religion will succeed as the coming world religion because the followers of monotheistic religions owe their full allegiance to one unseen, invisible Supreme Being.  Such a religious fervor for a single Person called God is incompatible with globalism and the elitist rule which borders on a return to the divine right of kings and queens.

The new religion is as “new” as the tower of Babel and sprang out of early Sumerian, Babylonian and other pantheistic religions. Does the name “Gaia” or “Gaea” ring any bells?  Probably not, since this nation was founded by Christians and deists who had more knowledge of the Bible than any other book of worship.  Our heritage in the USA is that of the devoutly Christian Puritans and Pilgrims, although our Bill of Rights, when it is properly construed, gives all persons the freedom to worship who and what they please.

Gaea, which is the Hellenistic word for the Earth goddess, dates back to the Sumerian queen Semiramis under various names.

Whatever else the hyper-environmentalist crowd is … a destroyer of jobs, an enemy of all private property rights, the protector of trees and owls … it is devoutly pantheistic and it is a religious cult of no small power and force in this nation.   This cult is well financed and the individuals may have another, more formal religious affiliation for public appearances, but anyone in the environmentalist camp is a worshipper of Gaia or Semiramis.  Whether earth worship was one of the sins that caused the judgment of the great Flood of Noah’s day, we are not told, no excavations of antediluvian civilizations have yet taken place.  The submerged cities that have recently been discovered off the coasts of Japan, India, in the Black Sea and in the Caribbean may, once explored, shed some light on the religion of the antediluvians.

Mother-son worship goes back to Inanna of the Sumerians, Ishtar of the Babylonians, Astarte and many other names used for the goddess of fertility.  The earth-worshippers knew that their living depended on the fertility of the earth, so Diana of the Ephesians (Roman name for earth goddess) is portrayed as having grossly multiple breasts from which to nourish her many offspring.  Rites of spring have been noted in all ancient cultures, and there is a definite connection between the word Easter, with its rabbits and eggs, and these ancient rites of spring. Put in the most direct manner, our western culture never completely divested itself of paganism, and the church at Rome, when married to the government under Constantine, simply gave new labels to old rites.   That kept the natives happy.

The great pagan temples were noted for their temple prostitutes (male and female) and orgies involving sex acts of every sort.  Translate that into the way sex is marketed in the visual media and in nearly every magazine at the grocery store checkout counter.   Unbridled sex and violent behavior go hand in hand, both feeding off of the lusts of mankind and the basest elements of the fallen human nature.

America is flaunting itself now as a pagan nation, and “one nation under God” doesn’t say which God … Christians have, through the centuries, simply equated the word “god” with the God of the Bible.  That is no longer an accurate equation or assumption, since individuals have many idols in their lives, and sex is rapidly becoming allied with the Mother Earth religion so that with very little time or effort, the ancient new religion will be in place without so much as a gasp from many professing Christians.  It has already crept into the Bible.  One new version is “gender neutral” which is an insult to God, and a denigration of the work of Christ.  But it makes Mother Earth’s women’s libbers happy … they have infiltrated the church and led astray those not grounded in the word.

Under the Mother Earth religion, with its pantheon of lesser gods, all objects are of equal value, life continues via reincarnation, and there is no need for the rules and regulations of Father God, the Almighty Creator of heaven and earth.  One can pledge allegiance to the new world order, to the Antichrist ruler, and to one’s favorite tree or fish and never violate any precepts of their empty faith.  Mother Earth worship is the height of idolatry, and the height of disregard for the God of the Bible, since it replaces the Creator with the things created.  (The first chapter of the Bible book of Romans describes the downward spiral of this kind of idolatry and abuse of the covenant function of sex in the marriage relationship.)  This reincarnation-based religion is also convenient as a tool to remove guilt feelings about abortion or any taking of human life, since the object (that is, person) killed will only come back again.

Don’t imagine for a moment that most Americans are regenerated Christians.  If it were true that 83% of the citizens of this nation profess to be Christians, or did so ten years ago, our social order would not be in total disarray, our schools would be safe, the federalization of education would be rejected, the responsibility of parents would be upheld, and most of what is on the visual media would be banned.

What is on the media is perfectly compatible with the Mother Earth cults.  That tells us something about the true state of religion in America.  It has gone far afield from the Christian beliefs of the forefathers.

The Asians generally will have no problem with a pantheon, because that is what most of them already have, and it goes back thousands of years.  Europeans, once the architects of great cathedrals, are now as unchurched as people get, but would have little to no problem accepting the new world religion because it requires nothing … no confession of sin, no repentance, there is no fear of Hell or desire for Heaven … just the prospect of either becoming “one with the universe” or being reincarnated as someone else.  This also allows for the various types of divination that the Bible calls an abomination, but which are flourishing around the world.

There is more political and nationalistic opposition to the idea of global governance than there is truly religious opposition.  Radical Islam may be the exception at this time, but it will be put down because it is anti-globalist (other than to conquer the world for Allah).  Islam right now is just a convenient way to dilute or subvert what is left of true Christianity in America because these people also tend to value the national sovereignty of the USA.

As time goes forward, the state of man is going backward, right back to Babylon!

It is also noteworthy that the ruins of ancient Babylon are only about 50 miles southwest of the city of Baghdad, the nation targeted for the next American military incursion.

This could get very interesting.  It should be of particular interest to the Christians who keep their eyes open to prophetic events as they unfold.  It could also get very miserable for the whole world in something like a biblical “hour.”

At the same time, the scoffers are alive and well just as foretold:

2 Peter 3:3-4  knowing this first, that in the last days mockers will come, walking after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

Let them dream on, they will be accountable to the Judge of all the Earth in due season.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18  For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

As revolting as the world’s events are to Bible-believing Christians, they are no more repugnant than what the early Christians observed in the time of the Apostles.  Sin is sin, and it keeps manifesting itself over and over, same problem, different day.

Romans 9:28  For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

Maranatha!  Hold fast to the faith once delivered to the saints, as spoken of in the book of Jude.
