Do not attempt to adjust your television set. We are in control! You cannot escape! An Elian has landed in Miami and it futile to resist him! Now I ask you…who is the REAL hostage here? Instead of us all jumping aboard the Good Ship Lottapoop to rescue some child from the evil dictator in Cuba, may I suggest that we all just take a deep breath, walk over and TURN OFF the damned TV set and get back to rescuing OUR OWN CHILDREN from the one in Washington D.C. first?
The socialist programmers from the government/media complex, always on crisis watch, have us in a trance again. Using one poor child caught in a bad situation from another country, they have managed to hypnotize everyone into a freaky frenzy over Castro’s corrupt and bloody regime, while remaining totally indifferent to Clinton¹s. Amazingly, the only real differences between the two leaders are facial hair, wardrobe and term limits. Not only that, but under just the right crisis, martial law could render them virtually indistinguishable. Need I remind you that just such an executive order is still only one signature away? Wasn’t it David Rockefeller who said, “All we need is just the right crisis and they will gladly accept The New World Order”?
Wake up America! They’re doing it to you again; choreographing another socialistic soap opera with all the media mouthpieces doing the macarena around another family compound to detach, detain, distract, and deter you and I from our own sacred duties and responsibilities at home.
Again, we have thrown open the gate for yet another trojan donkey to demonstrate the need to rest our hope in the god of Govt. Am I the only one who recognizes the fallacy of this maleficent melodrama?
Sure, it’s a tragedy. Sure Elian is better off here than in Cuba. But, why have we forsaken all else for this play by play, round-the-clock, cover-to-cover, lead-story, every network, talk show, front-page, mass-media mini-series? Haven’t we learned YET that these crisis carnivals are designed and engineered by our socialist puppeteers to EDUTAIN us into believing that global governance is the key to solving all family matters. Doesn¹t anyone else see the precedent being set here?
