Now I realize that what is expected of me is undying, unquestioning patriotism. Make no mistake, I’m am fully willing and prepared to offer it up to the best of my ability. I am upset about the loss of almost 3,000 true American patriots. I love those people although I never met any of them, with the exception of Father Mychel Judge.
Father Judge was a priest I knew and respected, as did my minister. I am Protestant. Father Judge was a real good guy. He counseled my best friend of twenty years ago, also Protestant. And as a dedicated WASP, I sold more tickets at the Knights of Columbus Beefsteak Sports Night Dinner in February 1990, than any Knight. They gave me the autographed photo of New York Giant football player Harry Carson, who was the speaker for that evening. It was at these sports dinners where both my friend and I met Father Mike. And sure, I dragged my minister and my church’s Mens’ Club, which I founded, to these Catholic Church outings!
I am outraged at the brutal murders and permanent change to our sense of security we had taken for granted over the last century and a half. We could once rely on the natural barriers of protection afforded by the two great oceans that shielded us from the foreign entanglements our ruling class is so desperate to ensnare us with. In spite of the miserable failure of our pompous, arrogant government rulers, I’m asked to cast aside all doubt and rally around the flag, which they by their obvious contempt for our existence expect us to obediently follow without question.
I’m sorry, but I’m no longer buying into this cowflop! And I don’t care how many sheeplized flag-waving morons call me out for it! What makes us right and everybody else wrong? Of course, an emotional rally-’round the flag response is indeed in order to avenge the death of our lost fellow citizens. Vengeance is right. Delivering our best effort at presenting the worst of hell to these uncivilized scum is in order. Maybe they’ll appreciate that there is a price to pay for messing with our sense of security and our love for living and letting others do the same, whether within our borders or not. The weakness in our resolve originates from the despicable activities of our ruling class that present us as a militaristic imperial meddling entity that desires to force our will on all others via cash carrot favoritism or bayonet and gun terrorism.
As Libertarian Congressman Ron Paul of Texas points out, we provide $3 billion in aid to Israel, and more than that to Muslim nations that hate our very existence. They also hate Israel, and are prepared and willing to destroy them as well as us. Considering the three entities involved in this unequation, which entity, Muslims, Israelis or American taxpayers, is getting the worst deal? If you answered American taxpayers, go to the front of the class! Why are we allowing our corrupt, stupid ruling class to take our earnings away from our families and squander it in this ridiculously worse than useless manner?
I’m asked to believe my government, which has dispensed propaganda along with the biased establishment media, to pressure me to form an emotional evaluation of events based upon everything but the truth. Where is the white paper Colin Powell promised to America regarding proof of bin Laden’s guilt? Why weren’t flights TWA 800 and AA 587 identified correctly as successful terrorist attacks? Why haven’t the federal murderers at Waco been tried and brought to justice? Why haven’t Clinton and Reno? Have you noticed the progress of the Communist Chinese “space program” thanks to the efforts of Clinton, Reno and the Democrat Party? Have you noticed how Republicans and the media have protected them?
To whom do I owe patriotic allegiance? Certainly not the aforementioned pompous horse’s asses who have subverted and trashed the Constitution and our Bill of Rights. Certainly not to the pompous, arrogant jackasses and their subservient dumbos who can’t remember the true meaning of American freedom. Why do we need a war with Iraq?
Kuwait ticked off Saddam and Saddam kicked their butts and encroached on Bush # I’s oil arrangements. Bush # I failed to finish him off. So now, Son of Bush is going to? And Saddam is making weapons of mass destruction? Aren’t we doing the very same thing? Starting WW III over this sandlot disagreement is hardly justified.
