U.S. troops are helping build the new world order

Readers of my articles know that I make it a practice of not giving credence to any wild conspiracies or abstract political theories. Particularly if they are connected in any way to messages of a religious nature.

Still, I believe there is relevancy here in a line from Science of Mind, by Ernest Holmes: “Science knows nothing of opinion, but recognizes a government of law whose principles are universal. Yet any scientist who refuses to accept intangible values has no adequate basis for the values which he has already discovered.”

To me this means that investigating conspiracies and theories is a respectable endeavor, so long as the motive is to discover the truth .

So let’s investigate a theory, having to do with the New World Order, as it may relate to our sudden interest in, and pending “invasion of, Liberia.

The theory, put forth by Thomas P, M. Barnett, of the U.S. Naval War College, in Esquire Magazine and reprinted on the Cuttingedge website, rests on the premise that we are quickly and forcibly moving toward a Global Government (which we already know), but that many nations are lagging behind and need to be boot-kicked into joining the world body.

Barnett believes there are only two types of countries in the world today: One is the “Functioning Core”, or countries that already are part of, or going in the direction of, the Global System. The other is the “Non-Functioning Gap”, or the countries that are NOT presently in the Global System and are not likely to be, unless they are “kicked” into it by the U.S. or European troops.

To complete the New World Order, we will have to “shrink that gap.” Which brings us to the meat of the bad news: America will keep going to war, after war, after war, ad infinitum, until the gap is closed and the New World Order is a reality—which could, and may, take decades.

This is what President Bush means when it says we should expect the war on terrorism to last for a “long time.”

Why war? Because that “battering ram” (or threat of it) is the quickest, most effective way to knock over the regimes of nations standing in the way of the New World Order. Once the regime is gone it opens the way for America to implement “ownership” of the lagging nation, and establish its “strategic security.”

For example: Barnett asks, “We have just taken control of the ‘strategic security’ of Iraq, have we not?” Who can say no?

How do the One Worlders identify the nations that are dragging their feet in joining the New World Order?

In several ways: If the country is run by a repressive dictatorship. Or if the country insists on holding on to its “traditions.” Or if poverty is preventing it from connecting to the Global System. Or if the country’s civil wars are keeping it from joining the “Functioning Core”.

And what are the countries that presently are in the sights of the New World Order builders? The list is long, but here are a few of the most visible targets: Haiti, Columbia, Congo, Angola, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Indonesia, North Korea, a questionable India, and now Liberia.

If you look at a world map you will notice that these countries, all recalcitrant members of the “Non-functioning Gap”, form a kind of ring around the globe, from the Middle East, to Africa, to offshore islands in the North Atlantic, to the Pacific Rim nations.

The fact that we have more than 368,000 active, reserves, and National Guard service members deployed in 120 countries, testifies to how much of the New World Order we have already been sucked into.

From this point on, Thomas Barnett links the Pentagon’s strategy of building the New World Order—which he maintains is a combined U.S./ European operation—to Bible prophesy and a ‘free fall” of the world into World War III, which indeed could be the “final” war.

But now, I respectfully ask all readers to stop right here for a moment and recall that I said I usually separate political theory from any religious connotations.

Therefore, I submit that knowing Mr. Barnett’s addition of biblical connections to the New World Order, even if accurate, may not be the end-all he predicts; and certainly is not necessary to understand the cataclysmic danger any Global Order would be to America as we know it.

It would mean a belligerent, warring, empire-building America. It would mean the loss of many American lives and an incredible expenditure of tax dollars. It would mean policing the world— by ourselves if need be. It would mean alienating many nations of the world, which could have been our friends and allies.

And above all, the New World Order would mean an America, in which we have cancelled out its Constitution, ignored its Bill of Rights, trashed the rule of law, relinquished our heritage and traditions, and stolen from ourselves the individualism, independence, and freedoms that we earned with our blood and tears, and that we once enjoyed.

I don’t care to live in a world like that. Do you?
