The Revolution: Is being televised

The debate concerning biased television reporting has been waged for years. However, most of us still watch some form of network or cable news during the day –making up our own minds what is fact or fiction. Liberals lean towards CNN while conservatives tune in the Fox News Channel. Big Fat News Flash: Truth is suppressed and twisted regardless of what network you are watching. In the loop, talk show hosts and newscasters sell their souls to the network devils for financial gain and national recognition. [It would be unfair to lump all media folks together; there are some who are simply naïve.]

When a “truth-seeker” enters the picture they are usually labeled a “conspiracy kook.” The media discredits them, and eventually they fade into the smoke screen of the bought and paid for “truth debunkers.” Your basic good guys, Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity appear to be fair and balanced newsmen, informing their audience of the many ills in society. However, even they are walking a tight rope, and are instructed to slant the stories in a particular direction. Often times I read their uncomfortable faces as they defend a person or issue reluctantly. The main reason they are on the air, as well as Rush Limbaugh, is to keep the political pot stirred — pitting American voters against each other. The fact that their egos are stroked, by their popularity, may have blinded them to that notion.

Forgive me for being repetitive, but for the “party blinded” folks who refuse to see the obvious – most Democrats and Republicans on Capitol Hill are one in the same. They just sing well rehearsed tunes — keeping their constituents riled enough to choose sides. It is a con job. I’ve been there — done that. Washington, DC is nothing more than good theatre. I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but ignorance is only bliss for awhile. There comes a time of awakening. Do you not wonder why each time we get a new President or public official elected nothing changes? Excuse me, things do change. They get worse! We better start smelling the coffee before there aren’t any more beans to grind.

Fortunately, we now have the Internet to gleam some reality/truth from. Obviously, some Net information needs to be researched and filtered as well. However, there are several reliable sites that can be counted on to keep us up to speed — WorldNetDaily.com (A Free Press For A Free People), NewsMax.com, and the rebel of them all Matt Drudge with the DRUDGEREPORT.COM. If you want a spiritual slant on political news and excellent reporting on the Middle East, check out hallyndseyoracle.com and CBN.com. These sights report information that you will never see on the nightly news. Unfortunately, even they do not get down where the rubber meets the road, as they too know there is an unspoken rule that certain subjects are off-limits.

But alas, we now have the World Independent News Group (Wing) — a no-holds-barred Internet TV show produced by Victor Thorn and Lisa Guliani, two of the gutsiest people on the planet. Thorn and Guliani’s combined talents of writing, producing, and directing, makes for a great team. Their new genre, WINGTV.NET, is launching as we speak. Because of their passion for freedom and truth, expect Wing-TV to make Internet history. The revolution is here, and the “Revolution is being Televised!” Thorn and Guliani have also just completed a seven part, 30 minute documentary on the attack of the USS Liberty in June of 1967. You will find it linked to WING-TV’S homepage.

[This Mark Twain quote is used often by Thorn and Guliani:]

The history of the race, and each individual’s experience,
are thick with evidence that a truth is not hard to kill and
that a lie told well is immortal.

Thorn has been an Internet radio broadcaster for some time. His first book New World Order Exposed even had me pulling the covers over my head. The second book, New World Order Illusion (hot off the press) is a collaboration of both their determined, fearless, and ingenious craniums. If you want a political education, they are the books to read. Spitfire, Guliani, is marketing director for Sisyphus Press and weekly columnist for numerous print sources, including Babel Magazine.

Being an airplane buff and once a thespian (Wings won the first Academy Award in 1928) I am partial to the name WING-TV. It flies for me! (www.wingtv.net)
