Surge of socialism under George Bush: Republicans rally for centralized government

stock-exchange-1222518_1280George Bush’s socialist spending spree has been well documented by this writer and many other conservative patriots. Now that the $400 billion plus Prescription Drug wealth transfer scheme is nearing completion, it is time once again to set straight the crooked thinking of the majority of Republican loyalists.

This chart (click for data tables and fuller explanation) clearly shows that George Bush has done what Bill Clinton could not do—act presidential yet move the United States deep into socialism.

HR (Human Resource) is a superfunction of the Untied States Budget made up of the following:

  • education, training, employment, social services

  • health

  • Medicare

  • income security

  • Social Security

  • veterans services

The average outlays spent on HR as a % of total outlays of the US budget averaged 61.26% 1993-2000 during Clinton’s corrupt regime. George Bush, who would be titled a “flaming socialist” by Republicans if his letter was a “D” not a “R”, has averaged 65.53% (including estimates for 2003 and 2004). Clearly, socialist George Bush makes Bill Clinton look like a fiscal conservative.

The red bars in the chart show this surge and is indeed a picture worth a thousand words.

Typical of Republican loyalists are the idiots who make up the rally center for the RNC, the party loyalists at FreeRepublic.com. Look how “jagrmeister” responded to a very rare accurate comment at that place from a poster who noted “I don’t think the printing presses at the Federal Reserve can be cranked up fast enough to keep up with Bush’s spending. I didn’t think it was possible, but he’s starting to make Clinton look like a fiscal conservative. “

And the loyalist response? “The numbers don’t support the accusation. Clinton raised spending roughly 8% a year. Bush is at roughly 4% on average.” — “jagrmeister”

The facts from the Office of Management and Budget:

No, Clinton did NOT raise spending 8% a year. The average increase in total US spending outlays during Clinton’s regime was 3.28% year over year. In the crucial category of HR, the largest hog in the US budget, the year over year increase in outlays averaged 4.71%.

No, Bush has NOT averaged 4% increases. The average increase in total US spending during Bush’s term (including estimates for 2003 and 2004) has been 5.67% year over year. In the HR category, Bush has slopped the hog at HR to the tune of 7.26% year over year increases.

This comment and the idiotic response can not be taken to lightly. “Jagrmeister” is typical of Republican loyalists who overlook the movement to the left by the Republicans because their entire world revolves around whether the letter “R” is going to get elected in 2004 or the dreaded letter “D” will return to the White House. Rallying for a centralized government seems to take precedence over any effort for limited government and an end to tax slavery.

Minor issues such as our nation surging into socialism does not register on the radar scope of this loyalist and millions of others like “jagrmeister”. Apparently, the lives and future of 280 million Americans are less important than getting a couple hundred “Rs” elected who buy votes with socialism so they can get their pension gravy train from Washington.

Only in America do millions care more about the paycheck and pension for a few politicians than they do in the future of a hundred million soon to be young tax slaves.

Not only do these morons not realize they are supporting socialism, but they even convince themselves that “Clinton doubled the rate of spending increases of Bush”, opposite to reality and the facts. If these hard core loyalists are this stupid, then all hope is lost to ever get the “middle of the road” crowd to help stop the socialist juggernaut.

It is shocking to note that our nation’s spending for the Department of Defense has had a corresponding drop in spending versus total outlays during this same period. As socialism surges, the pie has to be cut smaller from somewhere and it is being taken from the defense of our nation. Human Resource spending (socialism) now consumes a whopping 66.2% of all government spending in the 2004 budget. This is compared to just 17.5% for the Department of Defense.

Compare that 17.5% figure to the Defense spending in 1993 at a much higher 20.7% rate.

As the world gets more dangerous with proliferation of WMDs, our national defense spending is shrinking while spending on socialism is surging.

George Bush’s social spending spree has made Bill Clinton look like a freedom fighter by comparison.

America’s grave risk is that the surge in socialism, combined with the soaring birthrate among illegal aliens and non-taxpayers, along with the pending retirement of the baby boom generation, will lead to spending on “Human Resources” on such a scale that the ability to finance the defense of our nation will collapse.

America has proven it can’t be defeated militarily. America will collapse and will be defeated financially.
