Something worth fighting for: Getting rid of oppressive government!

Some groups of American citizens now feel our government has gotten totally out of hand. Duh. They should have seen this coming in 1965 when Lyndon B. Johnson, then-president, announced his “Great Socialist Society” as a golden orb of progress for America.  What it was, and is, and will be until dismantled, is a brass chain of oppression aimed at taking down America’s strong middle class that produces the wealth the government steals to feed itself and pay on its incredible debt.  Some, of course, is distributed to the non-producers who are able bodied but cannot find “suitable” work.  Since when does work have to be suitable if one needs to pay bills?  Making a living is one thing; making the kind of living Americans have grown to desire via advertising and goodie-charm fascination is another.  Before the government was willing to subsidize freeloaders, they got out and worked or starved, which is great motivation.

What is disturbing is how many citizens have taken the attitude that robbing all Americans of freedom via unconstitutional laws and high taxation is for our own good and they approve of it!  Of course it took billions in federalized indoctrination in schools and universities and several generations to get to this point of lunacy, but the Marxist agenda can be extremely patient.  Perseverance requires patience.  The globalists have it in bundles.

Worst of all, Americans living under the media-distributed “illusion of a Free America” are pleased that our nation meddles everywhere in this “war against terrorism” and feel they are doing their duty to not only serve in the military to fight for the illusion of freedom, but pay for it in higher taxes.  Obviously they do not stop and ask why we’re really overseas in all these foreign nations, never leave, and continue to run up debt that will never be paid until someday it will go into default and the new globalist economy will come to “save” us.

Most of what occurs today in America is totally unconstitutional. There is a quote from a long-ago nighttime soap opera “son, no one gives you power, you take it” that somewhat applies to the present situation in America.  The government takes it and the people support the theft rather than fight it.

I would not call present-day America something worth fighting for because our government is what we are being asked to fight to keep. It so happens that our government is the worst (and most deceptive) enemy of our heritage of freedom.   Why would anyone consider an oppressive, intrusive, snooping, taxing, deceptive, secretive, lying, Constitution-despising goverment something to fight for?  Mercy — if you are willing to give your life in a battle it should be for real freedom and not for an oppressive government that takes benefits for its leaders (who call themselves public servants — another deception) that the workers and soldiers will never enjoy?  Such a mess is a duplicitous oligarchical tyranny and the public is too brainwashed to see it, too fearful to fight and too eager to make no waves lest they get in trouble with the government which is supposed to be their servant! Stalin wanted people exactly like that.  Every tyrant does.

Oppression is not something to fight for and neither is a land where people live in fear of their own government.

The Revolutionary soldiers under George Washington fought to make men free and that was the last battle for real freedom.  The War of Northern Aggression was a war to make the centralized Union strong and abrogate states’ rights (the 10th amendment) and Lincoln is lauded for “freeing the slaves” that he personally considered subhuman.   The battle the Confederacy was fighting was for their freedom, the Union fought to take control and that control has grown ever since 1865 until it is as menacing to individual liberty as anything Roman emperor Nero could ever have conceived and blamed on the Christians he wanted to roast.

Big government and nanny states create weak, oppressed, fearful and submissive serfs. Legally they may be citizens but in fact they are slaves to the government system and if you doubt this, try getting a little militia together … and “militia” is a constitutional term in our second amendment.  Just don’t try it if you don’t want to have a bad accident, be jailed without counsel or convicted of some crime against the statists.

Our own increasingly meddlesome government has abrogated the Bill of Rights step by step until it is a Bill of Privileges for those who support the statism of this nation, not a rule of law that makes all men equal under the law as the founders intended.

If the founders saw the evils of harsh control by monarchs and oligarchs well over two hundred years ago and set about making this a land of freedom, how come our present day Americans cannot see such evils in the loss of our liberties?

First, they don’t pay attention to much, so they still believe the major media so-called news that assures us we are a free people and we must fight for that freedom. That media never lists the freedoms we have lost by the increase of privacy-invading, convenience-stealing, draconian laws passed by a congress that doesn’t bother to read what it signs.

Second, average Americans don’t much care what “government” does as long as their wallet is not empty or, if it is, they can get a government handout.

Third, the government is deliberately making designer twits by handing America’s children over to anti-American educators who make certain that the children obtain the darkest possible picture of what America’s founders were and what they did.

Fourth, the engineered breakup of the family at the altar of the great god “SELF” was the blood sacrifice of the natural order of generational strength and transmission of moral precepts. The carcass of the sacrifice was presented to the public as an act of human progress for the liberation of minorities and women, who weren’t enslaved anyway, just limited as to certain job opportunities and “rights” that abrogated the rights of others, such as men’s clubs.

Our oligarchs have embraced and “deified” this totally Marxist doctrine to use Americans as the slave labor for their great pyramids of elitist conquest and domination.  Having abolished slavery for the very few, we now have slavery for all, including elitist slavery to their own doctrines.

That is not something worth fighting for.

When and if we gather our collective wits about us and fight for the rights that are ours and “throw the bums out” by whatever method is effective, we shall have something worth fighting for, here and against any threat from without.  Until that time, we have nothing worth fighting for any more than any failed government has been worth human sacrifices. Today, the main mission seems to be survival and planning for a future without the freedom that our founders would call freedom, that thinking men would call freedom, and that real Americans call freedom.  That is not planning for a worthwhile future or any semblance of liberty. Until we fight for true liberty, we shall not have something worth fighting for.

And remember, the second amendment was put there to guarantee the other nine to the people of a free nation. Any and all who oppose the second amendment oppose liberty!
