Nothing to worry about: Spies are U.S.

As “free” American citizens in an ever more callous and duped state of indifference, I really don’t know why we should all be worried that “one in twenty-four” of us will become “snitches” for the government. That won’t raise the percentage of busybodies to privacy loving individuals much more than it has been for quite awhile now, and if these “official snitches” are going to be considered anything near the average government employee, we know their efforts will be mismanaged and not very effective. Right?

I expect the new TIPS, (Terrorism Information and Prevention System) to be dubbed a smashing success by socialists and even some patriots everywhere. Processing clear thoughts is becoming more of a challenge every day as we try to sort out how to deal with this concept of warring with terrorism. Two things must be at the forefront of our thoughts as we take each “new” weapon against terrorism into consideration.

1) “The end justifies the means” is a tenet of communist philosophy – not a tool to be used for the preservation of freedom.

2) Individual sovereignty and responsibility must be restored and maintained or good will not prevail over evil.

In a society that has become so impersonal to individual human suffering – substituting instead, a sensitivity to special interests – victim labels are handed out haphazardly and to the detriment of common sense. We see a traitor defend the indefensible with a “victim” status while his true victims are left to accept an imbalanced justice. We see innocent children snatched from their homes in full view of witnesses who will not become the “safety net” by extending their own risk and dropping everything to immediately track down the animals that do it before they can get away and torture and murder those precious little lives. They choose instead to leave everything in the hands of the officials” who cannot get there fast enough and will then give the criminal every benefit if and when he is caught. That is how we’ve been programmed after all.

For years people have been programmed to go along to get along and sacrifice honor for safety – heroism for indifference. What should we expect? A robber can realistically expect that his chosen victim will hand over all he has for a promise of “safety” and a gang can attack an individual in plain sight of witnesses and realistically expect no immediate interference on the victim’s behalf. Constitutional infringements lead to stupid laws that strip a large portion of the population’s rights to defend themselves and force anyone who chooses to inject himself into a situation to help a victim to risk not only his safety but his “legal” freedom as well – all dependent on a judge’s definition of “deadly force.”

The “quality of life” debate is one that really defies all common sense though. Will someone please explain to me why life should be preserved at all costs when we are talking about the acts of a criminal against a victim, but life is meaningless if unborn babies and people of any age with “certain” defects can be judged to be inconvenient and therefore of less value than others? Somehow, that just doesn’t hold with the “quality” argument. If I allowed a criminal to have his way with me and take away any of my worldly goods along with my honor, there would be very little “quality” left to my life. Yet, that is exactly what we are all admonished to do in this socialist society. But, if I had been given an unwanted pregnancy or a physical infirmity to bear, everyone would rush to tell me how “right” it would be to end an inferior “quality of life.”

So, what do we worry about? The fact that so many people see nothing wrong with citizen spying by a programmed society without honor is alarming to me, until I stop and think about the fact that the government will be in charge now. That’s bound to mess up the whole thing. It will be like a black guy trying to sneak into a KKK meeting – without a sheet! Any information that could come out of that meeting would be nothing new, and everyone knows the “informant” is as prejudiced as the targets. The only thing we can be reasonably sure about is that more criminal activity will be hatched.

At this point, it seems like the best advice is to protect your own because nobody else will.
