Let me see if I can illustrate just how ridiculous the general consensus of Big Brother Bush’s Homeland Security scam is. Imagine if you will the entire population of the United States rushing out to their local penitentiary and begging to be let in so that they can live out the rest of their terrified lives in the safety and care of the federal government. Why would they want to do a stupid thing like that, you ask? Because there are VERY dangerous criminals roving the streets of America right now…that’s why. Such is the folly of a nation that spurns the God of the Bible for the gods of globalism.
If Moses was a guest on Larry King Live, discussing “Homeland Security”, I suspect he would probably be shaking his bearded head and saying something like: “Well Larry…you know it’s been my experience that you can take the slaves out of Egypt, but you just can’t take Egypt out of the slaves.
But, like I’ve said before, “If you want to sell fire insurance to the folks in Mayberry, just burn the mayor’s house down.” They’ll knock each other over trying to get coverage…regardless of the cost! If you want to sell “Homeland Security” to Americans, just use your postal system to spread around a little anthrax and have a couple of planes fly into the World Trade Center on national television. The horrified populace will not only ALLOW you to transform their country into a concentration camp…they’ll cheer and applaud you for doing so. Homeland Security is not about safety. It’s about control. And as long as you remain terrified, the government knows they will have your FULL cooperation and support. That’s why we keep getting all of these mysterious threats and ominous warnings from the government’s own media day after day about up and coming bio-chemical attacks and lost suitcase nukes.
After a while though, when the fear wears off and our gushing gratitude and armchair patriotism gives way to the collective complaints of delays, hassles, inconvenience, expense and the complete loss of privacy, freedom and dignity, our new lords will simply give us another dose of disaster to send us running like roaches from a hundred watt bulb to bang on the prison doors again and cry out for the warden to save us. Pathetic, isn’t it?
